Pre-Listing Inspection for Sellers

Having your home inspected before you put it on the market puts you in control. An AIS inspection will provide you with valuable information about the overall condition of your home. This gives you more control over repairs, and can eliminate renegotiating a deal, or potentially having a buyer walk away.

New Construction Inspection

It is beneficial to have an outside party with fresh perspective inspect a newly-built home before the final walk through. AIS will inspect the home to ensure that there are no errors in construction and that the home is safe and complete.

New Construction Phase Inspections

Phase Inspections are completed periodically throughout the construction process. AIS will inspect each individual component of the home as it is built, allowing the builder to ensure that every phase is correct before moving on to the next.

Calendar

11th Month Warranty Inspection

Most newly-constructed homes come with a year-long warranty. Having your home inspected around the 11th month allows AIS to identify warranty related concerns before the warranty expires. This information can be shared with the builder to request repairs at no cost to you.

Home Maintenance Inspection

Like a checkup for your health, a home maintenance inspection is a check up for your home. Often, you don’t realize something is about to go wrong until it’s too late. An AIS home maintenance inspection can help identify problems and allow you to correct them before they become big problems.

Commercial Building Inspection

AIS can also provide inspection services for small commercial buildings or properties. These inspections are similar to the general inspection in regards to the components and systems we inspect. Each unit in the building will be thoroughly checked for damage and defects.

Additional Services

Radon Testing

Radon is a radioactive gas that is a leading cause of lung cancer. It is clear, tasteless, and odorless, so it cannot be detected without advanced equipment. To keep yourself and your family safe, it is always important to schedule Radon Testing before buying a home. You can also order a Radon Test for a home you are currently living in. If high levels of radon are detected, mitigation measures will be recommended.

Water Testing

AIS offers Water Testing to ensure that the water in your home is safe for drinking and other uses. Water can sometimes contain high levels of harmful substances such as lead or radon, so it is important for your health and safety to have it tested by a professional – especially if your primary source of water is from a well.

Termite Inspection

Termites often go unnoticed until the damage they have done is extreme and costly. By scheduling a Termite Inspection, you can catch the problem while it is still controllable and reversible.

Septic System Inspection

AIS also offer Septic System Inspections. This is an open tank inspection, not just a dye test. This type of inspection will provide you with information regarding the location and condition of the septic system.
